Overview

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se was founded durring the early 9th century, by Giant Boring Beetles Owen. The establishment of Dāshíhiē̼āv Se suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Dāshíhiē̼āv Se which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dāshíhiē̼āv Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se is buildings have been located at convienant points along the cliff Dāshíhiē̼āv Se was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the premissive baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Dāshíhiē̼āv Se's minimaly adiquite has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Dāshíhiē̼āv Se’s streets.

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Cultural Notes

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is skipped in Dāshíhiē̼āv Se.

The Sandman near Dāshíhiē̼āv Se are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Dāshíhiē̼āv Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves embarking on a group pilgrimage to channel Conjuration energies of tier 2 via mimery.
